Montevideo | Two colleges meet to play sports for a noble cause; By Sergio Boragno
On Friday, November 4, a soccer championship was held at the Sacred Heart Center of Paso Carrasco, in which primary students from that college and Stella Maris College participated.
It was organized by parents of the soccer club from our school and volunteer mothers from the Sacred Heart College, also parents and students, members of the Edmund Rice volunteer program from our school were present.
The purpose of this meeting was to share an afternoon of games between both school communities and raise funds to prepare a space destined to sports in the Sacred Heart College.
The championship turned out to be a success from all points of view bringing together 66 students in total to which were added several parents and students volunteers of both Colleges. It was a beautiful day where veryone had fun playing football and enjoying the games organized by the volunteers.
It ended with a snack shared by everyone present in the open courtyard of the Sacred Heart College.
